  • Proclamation of 1763

    To avoid conflict king George III issued the proclamation which banned settlements West of the Appalachian mountains.
  • Sugar act

    British had to pay for the French and Indian war. To pay for the war they put an extra tax on all sugar products.
  • Stamp act

    British taxed colonists on all paper products.
  • Townshend acts

    The Townshend acts were taxes on glass lead paint paper and tea.
  • The Boston Massacre

    Boston massacre was an event where colonist were rallying against the British and throwing sticks insults in snowballs at the British in the British shot five men in the crowd.
  • Tea act

    The tea act was when British put a tax on tea which made Smugglers bring tea in that would sell for less money and then the British started texting that tea which hurt the colonist because had all this smuggled tea they couldn’t sell
  • Boston Tea Party

    Colonists disguised as Native Americans went into a British ship through millions of dollars worth of tea.
  • French and Indian War

    It was a war between the French and the British including African American allies.
