The Proclamation of 1763
The Proclamation of 1763 was a rule issued by Great Britain. It was made to prevent colonist from going west. It was also made to prevent tensions between the Britsh and the Native Americans. This was an important date in American history because this prevented colonist from going west to the frontier, and this angered colonist so much they really wanted to move west, and it was one of the main reasons that caused the American Revolution. -
