9: Stamp Act Repealed
The Stamp Act was repealed because of the boycott of British goods in the colonies. Some other forms of protest were not as peaceful as some colonists had organized attacks on homes of tax collecters. -

The Declaratory Act was passed the same time the Stamp Act was repealed and stated that Parliaments power was the same in the colonies as it was in Britain. -

The Sons Of Liberty threw 342 chests of tea overboard from 3 ships in the Boston Harbor. -

14: Intolerable Acts
The Intolerable Acts were a series of laws passed by British Parliament in 1774. They were primarily aimed at the colonists who participated in the Boston Tea Party. -
15: 1st Continental Congress
The 1st Continental Congress met in response to the Intolerable Acts. The Congress passed the Articles of Association. The Articles of Association stopped the colonies from importing British goods if the Intolerable Acts were not appealed. -
16: Declaration of Rights and Grievances
When the 1st Continental Congress met they made the decision to send the Declaration of Rights and Grievances to King George The Third and it was issued by the Stamp Act Congress in October 1775 -
17: Lexington And Concord
The battles of Lexington and Concord started the American Revolutionary War. -
18: The Battle of Bunker Hill
The colonists were defeated at the Battle of Bunker Hill, but the British Army suffered many casualties.

The Declaration Of Independence declared that the 13 colonies were now states independent from Great Britain.
