The Townshend acts was an act which taxed everything which was brought into the Americas. This was seen as an abuse of power by the colonists which had no standing in the government of Britain. -
The Boston Massacre
In Boston there was a Patriot mob which were fired upon by the British soldiers. In the firing a boy died. -
Tea Act
It was an Act which would allow companies to sell tea directly to the colonies. -
Boston Tea Party
The colonist or American were outraged by the taxation and in an act of rebellion's dumped a bunch of tea into the ocean. -
1st Continental Congress
This was the 1st congress. The people were planning to boycott Britain and then gain some rights along the way. The people were planning to gain rights. -
Intolerable Acts
Britian passed a bunch of laws which were mean to the Colonists. To punish them for their rebellion.
