The Treaty of Paris ended the "French and Indian war"
British got the previous French land, which Southern State wanted it for agriculture(growing cotton, rice, indigo and tobacco), the colonist also wanted the land(route) for trading. -

Pontiac's Rebellion
Pontiac's Rebellion was a group of Native Americans attacking the British force at Detroit, Native Americans would trick settlers to gain access to forts, and then capture or kill inhabitants. Three years later, Pontiac signed the treaty of not surrender. -
Proclamation of 1763
The Proclamation of 1763 was one of the attempts to define a boundary that separated the colonist and the Native Americans. Especially the colonist couldn't pass the Proclamation line for their safety. -
Sugar Act
The Sugar tax was a tax on importing sugar(molasses), wine and coffee, the sugar tax was half of the molasse tax, but the Colonists refused to pay it. However. the Colonists were unhappy because the British had complete control over taxation. -

Stamp Act
Stamp Act was the first direct tax on all legal documents, newspapers, pamphlets, playing cards, dice, and other printed material, although the Act only impact a small amount of people, but it affected the rich and educated ones because they are the people who read. By the end of the year, nine colonies passed the Virginia Resolves. -
Quartering Act
Colonist had to provide quarters, bedding, food, beer, cider and rum for the British troops in the area, and the colonist thought it was a way of British government limiting their freedom. -
Virginia Resolves
The Virginia Resolves were a series of resolutions in response to The Stamp Act in 1765, the resolves stated that no unbearable tax should be imposed to anybody and the Virginia General Assembly is the only one to have the right to lay taxes on people in the colony. -
Repeal of Stamp Act
When Stamp Act passed, most of the Colonist started boycotting British goods, and some of them attacked the local tax collectors. After few months of protest, Parliament voted to repeal the Stamp Act. -
Declaratory Act
On the same day of Repeal of Stamp Act, while the colonists were celebrating, the British parliament passed the act. The declaration stated that Parliament's authority was the same in America as in Britain and asserted Parliament's authority to pass laws that were binding on the American colonies. -

Townshend Acts
The British passed series of laws which set new import taxes on British goods including tea, lead, glass, paper, paint and used revenues to maintain British troops in America. -
Boston Massacre
Boston Massacre caused 5 deaths. The event happened during night time and snowing, a group of drunken colonist followed a young British soldier back to his base, when the British soldiers came out, the colonist were throwing ice and stones at them and were threatening them. So the Britsih fired.
