The colonist wanted to settle to the other side of the montain but the British would not let them. They would not let them because they didnt wanted to send soldiers to help them. Last time they went on the other side and a war broke out between them and the Native Americans . -

Sugar Act
The Sugar Act was passed by the Parliament in 1764. This law was when they placed taxes on sugar, molasses, and other products. So, they can make more benfits on the products. -

This showed that all taxes have been paid , it is stamped with an offical stamp . Thia was an act for enforcing and devoting some stamp duties and others in American plantations and British colonies. -

The quartering act was passed by the Parliment. Colonies gave the soldiers sheltter and supplies. The General Thomas Gage put most soldiers in New York . -
Townshend Act
The townshend was passed by the Parliment . The reason why the Parliament passed the law because Charles Townshend told them he had a way to raise revenue in the colonies . -
The Boston Massacre
This was a war between the British and the colonies. It started because the colonies threw a snow ball, stick, and stones at the British. The British are called the red coats . On March 5, 1770 thats when then violence started . -
The Boston Tea party
The Boston Tea party is about when the colonist had to pay taxes on the tea. The colonist did not like paying taxes on the tea, so they locked the inspector in a coloset when he came to check how much tea they have . British gained control over the American tea trade . They also threw tea over the board. -

It was passed by the Parliament . It was passed this law because they twanted to punish the Massachusetts colonie and also to give a warning to other colonies . The British was going to call this coercive act but instead they were so harsh they decide to call it Intolerable acts -
