Social equality, along with rights to property (tax), life, and liberty were being violated.
Occurred in France.
Aggressor: First and Second estate Victim: Third Estate (the people)
Although they overthrew the Monarch and implemented a national assembly made up of the people, the overall revolution was much longer and bloodier and the Monarch had no way to help the people in the first place; the revolution was not entirely successful. -
Venezuelan Independence
1810-1823
People fought for liberty, property, and equality throughout all classes.
This occurred in Venezuela.
Aggressor: Spain Victim: Venezuela
The efforts to resist were initially successful, they gained many liberties throughout all social classes. However, Spain once again regained control before Venezuela reclaimed independence in 1823. -
Philippine Revolution

People fought for liberty and they wanted their freedom from Spain.

The efforts to resist were unsuccessful because after Spain ceded control over the Philippines, the U.S. claimed the land as a territory. -

The effort of resistance worked and the Republic of China was established and later became a communistic government under the rule of Mao Zedong. -

People fought for liberty property and equality: Spain was opposed to foreigners living in the country.
This occurred in Mexico.
Aggressor: Spain Victim: Mexico
Mexico had a successful revolution; the country established a new government with equal rights and opportunity for citizens.
