    American colonists who were unfairly taxed without representation.
    Were the efforts to resist successful?
    Yes, the colonists managed to defeat British soldiers, claiming independence and creating the United States of America.

    The third estate was fighting for fair and equal treatment.

    France.
    Who was the aggressor?
    The French monarchy, as well as the 1st and 2nd estates.
    Who was the victim?
    Citizens of the third estate who were unfairly taxed and treated unequally.
    Were the efforts to resist successful?
    The revolution was mildly successful. It did manage to replace the king, but the majority of conditions remained unchanged.

    Yes, free black citizens were eventually given the same rights as their white counterparts.

    Yes, they were out of Spanish control, but then recaptured, and finally gained its independence from Spain in 1819,

    Britain.
    Who was the victim?
    Indians who had no political freedom and faced racism at the hands of British officers.

    They were eventually successful, as India gained independence from British rule in 1947
