The Gaspee ran aground and was looted and burned by the Sons of Liberty who were never trialed. -

The last act that would spark a revolution. Didn't raise taxes but the colonist thought it was a trick to win favor of the tea tax. -

Enraged citizens threw overboard 342 chest of tea off the East India Trading Company. -
Declaration of Independance
The colonist declaring their independance from Britian and creating their own country.
