    Inquisition

    Inquisition
An inquisitor is someone who asks you questions to decide on your punishment, you go to the inquisition because you are accused of heresy. Now we have something called a court. You don’t go to court because you are accused of heresy; you go to court if you break the law. I agree with the court rather than the inquisition because it is fair to have different beliefs. During the renaissance when you went to the inquisition they either made you wear a cross, go to jail or you were burned to death.

Early 1300 the first clock was made. The first clock was measured out in 24 hours. During 1581 Galileo discovered the pendulum and the way it worked.
Clocks are so useful to us now, especially for communication and collaboration. Maybe during the Renaissance time some couldn’t tell the time, they could only tell if it was night or morning. So if someone wanted to meet up they would say, “Meet me during the day. “ One of them could be waiting around for ages for the other so it was very convenie

    The Black Death

    The Black Death
The Black Death was placed in the year of 1347; it was both an advantage and a disadvantage.

For the serfs who were at the bottom of the feudalism the Black Death was a big advantage because after the Black Death was over it didn’t really matter about the feudalism anymore. Lucky for us if the Black Death did not occurred then one of us might have been a serf with many disadvantages but someone else might have been a King with a lot of advantages. It just wouldn’t of have been fair.

Leonardo Da Vinci (1452 - 1519), he produced two designs. One with a triangular chart, and the other semi-circular, but both worked similarly. The object which was to be weighed would have been placed in a pan. The chart acts as a the pendulum of a clock and finds a new position so It could balance. The weight is shown on the chart by a plum bob crossing its face.
A weighing scale changed us in every matter of measuring mass. Nearly every day we want/need to measure the weight of something, our

    First Parachutes

    First Parachutes
Other inventors designed parachutes, including Croatian Faust Vrancic who constructed the parachute based on Da Vinci's drawing. Faust Vrancic jumped off a Venice tower in 1617 wearing a rigid-framed parachute. Faust Vrancic published Machinae Novae, he describes in text and picture fifty-six advanced technical constructions.
The parachute is very useful when we are in the air and are troubling to get down. For e.g. if we were having a tour on a small plane and the engine runs out, we

Mona Lisa is a portrait by an Italian artist Leonardo da Vinci. It is a painting made by oil paints, well out of the mixtures that they were provided with.
The Mona Lisa really changed the way people drew perspectives. Because the eyes of the Mona Lisa kept following you where ever you went, other artists started drawing and painting more realistically so it looked more 3D.
They did this by drawing lines from different spots that all lead to the same one spot.

During 1609 Galileo Galilee proved that the earth isn’t in the middle of the universe and that the sun was. He proved this by using a telescope to see further into the universe. He read a book and it told him that this certain glass could be used to see further so he used around 3 pieces of glass to see further. That is how Galileo proved he was telling the truth and he also invented something called a Telescope. This has made a great impact on us because now we can learn the truth about the ear
