Alchemy
Alchemy was a kind of chemistry that was not based on as many facts like chemistry. It was thought that there was a single substance from which all other substances could be made from. Most people join alchemy in hopes of making gold or somehow becoming rich. This was actually first used by the Chinese for medicine in 1290.

Higher Roles in the Renaissance
Noble rulers- They were influenced by powerful and wealthy families to make decisions, they ruled large cities. They are very wealthy and well off.
Nobles- They would live in large estates outside of the city that they had influence in or owned the land. They usually held high positions of power in the government.

Lower Roles in the Renaissance
Merchants- Merchants were usually bankers and higher up then tradesman, they would marry a noble to keep wealth in their family.
Tradesman- Tradesmen would make items and tools to sell at their shops, they are inbetween peasant and merchants. And did not have the same freedom as merchants due to a membership they must follow to be able to sell their goods.

Lowest Roles in the Renaissance
Peasants/Slaves- They were the poorest of the poor, peasants and slaves would usually live in one room houses. Slaves were forced to work for no money and had to stay on the land they were owned on meanwhile peasants could get jobs and try to go where they want to.

The Sforza family lasted from 1369 to 1424. All throughout the families years, they had been patrons of musicians, artists, poets, and scholars. They had many architectural commissions due to their love of the architecture.

Giovanni Bellini
Giovanni Bellini was born in 1430 in Venice, Italy. He died in Venice in 1516. He was a painter, most of his work reflected the Venetian artistic milieu and stylistic innovations in the Renaissance. Some of his greatest works were destroyed in a fire in 1577. He was well known for his landscapes and scenery paintings.

The Medici family ruled Florence for years and were very active in the arts often commissioning artists to make paintings for them. The family ruled over Florence for years because of how tight-knit it was in the community and city, almost like a mafia though.

He was born in 1445 in Florence Italy and died May 17th, 1510. His major was in painting, one of his popular paintings was the birth of Venus that he painted in 1486.

Hiëronymus Bosch
Basch was born in 1450 in ’s-Hertogenbosch, Brabant [which is now located in the Netherlands], he died on August 9, 1516, in ’s-Hertogenbosch. His work was very unusual because of his unique style of painting compared to other artists at the time during the Renaissance. The paintings he made were always religious in a way, but from further inspection today there is a possibility that botch was an occult artist.

Michelangelo di Lodovico Buonarroti Simoni
He was born March 6th, 1475 in Florence Italy and died on February 18th, 1564. Michelangelo was considered one of the greatest artists of his time, he worked in many different mediums like paint, sculpting, and architecture. One of his paintings that he is most known for is his painting on the Sistine Chapel's ceiling, this was painted in 1508 and completed in 1512.

Martin Luther
Martin Luther was born on November 10, 1483, and died on February 18, 1546. He became a monk after surviving a terrible storm, before that he was going to school to become a lawer. He soon started preaching as a priest at another church. He wrote the 95 theses after going to Rome and seeing the sins indulgences were making.

The Robotic Knight
The robotic knight was created by none other than Leonardo da Vinci. In the 15th century robots were an almost a thing of imagination, it consisted of a suit of armor that was rigged with gears inside of it that were connected to a wheel that were all attached to a pulley system. that made the knight able to move its arms, head, and torso.

He was born on July 30th, 1511, and died on June 27th, 1574. When he was a child he became an apprentice to Guglielmo de Marcillat. He was considered higher in architecture than painting like most artist at the time. -

95 Theses
On October 31, 1517, Luther had questioned the church by writing 95 theses and posting them on the church's door. The theses were about a wide range of issues Luther had with the church and how it ran at the time. "Why does not the pope, whose wealth today is greater than the wealth of the richest Crassus, build the basilica of St. Peter with his own money rather than with the money of poor believers?"

The Invention of the Condom
For years condoms had been used but none were one hundred percent full proof. Until Gabriele Falloppio had created a more modern version of the condom, they had been made with things like animal organs since Rome. He had used a chemically soaked piece of linen and was secured with a ribbon. It was tested on 1,100 men and was successful in protecting from syphilis. Which was a major cause of illness.

During the Renaissance, the scientific method was explored upon more. Galileo used the scientific method to make controlled experiments to prove or disprove his theories. This was later refined by Francis Bacon and Isaac Newton.

The Invention of the Parachute
Louis-Sébastien Lenormand has been given credit for the first design of a practical parachute in the late 18th century. Though Leonardo da Vinci created another design around 200 years later. but in 2000 is when the first test happened for the parachute that used Leonardo's design, it turns out that he did, in fact, make the first working design for a parachute.
