    The council of Chalcedon was a church gathering held between October 8 to November 1, 451 A.D, at Chalcedon. This council has been considered to be the fourth ecumenical council held by the Great Church. Marcian, the new Eastern Roman Emperor at the time, called for a council to try and end the chaos that was unfolding in the empire.

    The Peace of Augsburg was a treaty that existed between Charles V and the forced that were known as the Schmalkaldic League, who were an alliance of the Lutheran Monarch's. It was made official on the 25th of September 1555 in the Imperial City of Augsburg. Which is known the city of Bavaria in Germany.

    The First Vatican Council was conceived by Pope Pius XI on the 29th of June 1869 and ended in 1870. The main purpose of this Council was to deal with the contemporary issues arising which included: rationalism, liberalism, materialism and inspiration of Scripture. Besides the discussion of these important issues it was also setting out the definition of the Catholic doctrine, and explore papal infallibility.
