    Stakeholder PLNs to develop the PUSD Technology Plan based on technology standards.

    Learning Management System

    PUSD employees will participate in an online Learning Management System called Performance Matters to create a database of all the professional learning sessions attended, house digital portfolios, and provide individualized professional development. By 2020, we hope to be able to used the platform for all certificated and classified staff to create a system-wide culture of continuous learning.

    Online Learning Tools Taskforce

    A taskforce of educators and administrators will review online learning tools for the launch of our Online Learning for Students.

    Micro-Credentials

    Develop professional learning sessions aligned with PUSD initiatives for educators and classified employees to chose from for personalized learning. When employees complete professional learning they will receive a micro-credential that certifies their understanding, implementation and success in a specific initiative.
    Implementation for educators and administrators begins August 2017 and implementation for classified employees by June 2018.

    Network-Based Concepts

    Professional Development for PUSD educators at the annual Summer Institute Conference to share knowledge, and implementation strategies for flexible environments and network-based concepts. The ongoing PD will take place until there is at least one pilot for every school site in the district by 2020

    Extended School Year Online Learning

    In Summer 2017 the Extended School Year Online Learning Program will be launched to pilot various technology tools vetted by the Online Learning Tools Taskforce. Based on usage data and student proficiency using the integrated technology platform, the IT will determine the use of the Online Learning Program not only during the school year, but also for attendance recovery, home-hospital education, and other concepts.

    Infographics for Educators and Students

    Provide infographics to disseminate data to stakeholders regarding online platforms and/or district programs.
    Provide mini-professional learning sessions for educators to use infographics tools as a means for students to demonstrate their understanding and learning of content/concepts learned in class.
