    Public Law 94-142
    Public Law 94-142 guaranteed a free appropriate public education to children with a disability. All children with disabilities have availablet a free appropriate public education which emphasizes special education and services designed to meet their unique needs.
    Court ruling changes included efforts to advance how children with disabilities were identified and educated and assess the success of these efforts

  • The No Child Left Behind Act (NCLB)

    The No Child Left Behind Act (NCLB)
    This law concentrations on warranting that states and schools increase the performance of certain groups of students, such as English-language learners, students in special education.
    Law states must test students in reading and math in grades 3 through 8 and once in high school.
    Educators must be degree in the subject they are teaching and state certification.
