During this stage children either learn how to be self sufficient or they start to doubt their own abilities. -
First birthday
I celebrated my first birthday with my family and I loved all of the attention that they were giving me. -

During this stage children tend to become more self centered, asking more questions, and start learning more language. -

During this stage children want to do more adult activities, however sometimes they break the rules set by their parents then become guilty. -

During this stage the children perceive morals as the standards set by adults and the consequences of breaking the rules. -

Erikson - Industry vs inferiority (7-11 years)
During this stage children learn to be productive and learn new skills or they start to feel inferior and that they cannot do anything well. -

First basketball game
I started playing basketball when I was 8 years old. I was not good at it but I still enjoyed playing. -

My brother Sam was adopted from China. -

During this stage children try to figure out who they are and find their identity. -

Piaget- Formal operational (about 12 through adulthood)
During this stage people start using more reasoning. -

During this stage people figure out that the standards for morality that go beyond a figure of authority or a group. -
First day at Shannon Forest
I had to start a new school my sophomore year which was really scary. However it all turned out great. -
Made varsity basketball
I made the varsity basketball team my junior year of high school. We had a very good team and I had a lot of fun. -
Win State Championship
I won the state championship in Track and Field for Shannon Forest. -

Erikson - Intimacy vs isolation (18-40 years)
During this stage people look for relationships and companionship with other people or they become isolated because they are afraid rejected or disliked. -
Highschool Graduation
This was a huge accomplishment to finally be done with high school -
First day at Clemson
Was super scared about going to college and living by myself. -
College Graduation
Made it through college and now I have to find a job. -
First house
I bought my first house. Its small but it will do for now. -
Marriage
I got married to the most beautiful woman. -
Got a dog
I adopted a dog and I named him after my childhood dog, Baxter. -
First kid
My wife and I had our first boy and we named him Seamus. -
Second kid
My wife and I had our second boy and we named him Rashad. -
Started my own business
I started my own restaurant and I started making a lot of money from it. -
Third Kid
I had my first daughter and I named her Sally. -
Move to bigger house
The house I had was too small for all three of my kids so we moved into a new one. -
Death of my dog
My dog Baxter died at the age of 15 -
Become a millionaire
My business became very successful and earned me a lot of money. -

Erikson - Generativity vs stagnation (40-65 years)
During this stage people perform meaningful work and raise a family or they become stagnant and inactive. -
Son goes to college
My first son follows in his dad's footsteps and goes to Clemson university. -
Son gets married
My oldest son Seamus got married. -
Kids move out
All of my kids moved out and now it is just my wife and I in the house. -
First Grandchild
My son Seamus and his wife had a kid together. -
Take my family on vacation
I paid for my kids and my grandkids to go to the beach with my wife and I. -
Retirement
I retire and give my business to my two sons. -
Start traveling the world
After retirement my wife and I go and travel all around the world. -
Started playing golf
After retirement I got bored so I started to play golf with my friends every other day. -

Erikson - Integrity vs despair (60 and up)
During this stage older people look back at their life either seeing it as meaningful and successful or regretting and despairing all the things that they did not accomplish. -
Back Pain
I get back pain as my health slowly decreases. -
Arthritis
I was diagnosed with arthritis. -
Death
I went skydiving but my parachute did not work.
