Disney
When I was 4 I went to Disney in California which was a big deal when you lived in small town Nebraska. It was a fun ride and fun to travel. I love seeing different types of people and this was the first time I really did that. -
Jamaica
Going to Jamaica was nice to see other people's culture. It made me appreciate things more. -
4th in omaha
Spending the 4th of July in Omaha was interesting to be in the city. Certain places had different firework shows and that's something I wasn't use to. Just being in a city in general was weird to me at the time. -
staying in Lincoln
I stayed with my cousin in Lincoln for 2 weeks with her 9 month old daughter. It was fun but awkward being in someone else's home for such a long time. It's important to me because I don't get a lot of time with family. -
Husker game
Every Nebraskan will say their first Husker game was a milestone for them. Seeing all the fans and everything around Memorial Stadium is just unbelievable. The environment their is different than anywhere else. -
Breaking my Wrist
. Breaking my wrist was a little traumatic because I had never broken anything before. I realized I needed to be more careful. It also a lot more thankful for science creating pain medicine. -
Moving to AZ
moving to AZ was big for me because I had never moved out of state before other than when I was very little. I had to leave all my friends and family behind. I had to learn to be more social in order to make new friends. -
Flying alone
Flying alone was scary at first. It was hard because I'm kind of shy and had to get over it. I always meet new people now and have fun but it was a social barrier that needed to be broken. -
Austin moves in
Having Austin move in made me learn to share. I have to think about him too now rather than just myself. Sometimes it's challenging to have someone living in your space but we are helping him and i'm getting used to it. -
Joining Gaurd
Joining guard was a really good experience for me. It's important because it was the first thing I have joined since moving here. It made me get involved with school events and get out more.
