Workers strike for 3 days about higher wages and shorter hours. This event falls under creating economic reform because if the strike continued it would have made a shortage in the coal which would've shut down factories and left unheated homes. -
New lands Reclamation Act
The government transported water to 20 states in the US and this was more efficient because it made jobs easier and had more resources also created more job opportunities in dry areas. -
Department of Commerce and Labor
Was created to control big business. This is creating an economic reform because they are trying to help the civilians and not helping the big business take over the entire state,city,or town. -
Northern Securities VS United States
5 to 4 courts overruled the Great Northern and Northern Pacific stockholders in Supreme Court. They were in charge of the railroad companies who created a monopoly. This is economic reform because it meant that the government favored other things that could bring the US more opportunities. -

Set standards for the cleanliness in meat-packaging before they sell to the public -

Food and drug companies are now checked for certain standards when trying to give out food to the public. -
Children's Bureau
Being able to investigate all matters related to children life and welfare. This is a moral improvement because they are taking more cautious actions for children because they are more aware of the quality of children's lives. -

Has a financial system where it is more flexible, stable, and safer. This is economic reform because it ensured the stability of the economy. -

protects national parks and monuments for the city this is a moral improvement because makes everyone know that their land is being preserved.
