    COBOL was created by CODASYL and Grace Hopper. It was designed for business use and administrative systems like for the government and companies.

    RPG was created by IBM. RPG is an IBM high level programming language and was used for a punched card system.

    BASIC (Beginner's All-purpose Symbolic Instruction Code) was created by John G. Kemeny and Thomas E. Kurtz. BASIC is a family of High end programming languages and serves general purposes.

    LOGO was created by Wally Feurzeig, Seymour Papert and Cynthia Solomon. LOGO was a general purpose language it produced line graphics .
