    COBOL standing for Common business-oriented language was made in 1959 by the CODASYL. COBOL was made for business programs much to what the acronym means.

    Developed by Daniel G Bobrow, Wally Feurzeig, Seymour Papert and Cynthia Solomon.
    Mainly used for Turtle graphics which gave commands for drawing that the software would create.

    Originally developed by Bell Labs by Ken Thompson and Dennis Ritchie. B was made for system software for early computers to use.

    Mainly used for algorithm’s like the Hindley-Milner.
