  • Vacumm Tube

    This is when Edison first discovered that a current can travel though a vaccum. This was originally discovered in 1883. Vaccum Tubes aren't as useful as transisters, but they're still used for high wattage amplification such as TV transmitters, FM transmitters and RADAR installations. It unlike Transisters, have to warm up. It also is used for swiching and amplification.

    Computer used during WW II. It was made of vaccum tubes. Army used to calculate artillary trigecteries

    We can now make billions of them. A transister is a semiconducter and can either do amplification and swiching.

    Made by Dennis Ritchie at Bell Telephone Labratoriies, it was used for the Unix operating system

    Named after Blaise Pascal, who also invented the first adding epipment in 1641. The programm was created as a teaching tool and it grew into widespred commercial use.

    Similar to C and makes projects at a larger scale and scope. Used to create Microsoft Office.

    It's an object oriented scripting language.

    java is a operating system and operating system independent. It's also is a object-oriented language. JavaScript is problably the most popular language in programming.

    Java isn't related to Javascript even thouth they share the same name. It is used for mainly webdevelopment.
