GPA
Start using studying sources, getting together with fellow students to start study groups, work on my personal studying skills, work on doing my work ahead based off of availability. This is how I will be working to bring my GPA higher than what is required of me. -
Observation location
Finding that right location that fits me best. I want to find somewhere I feel welcome, meets my needs as a new teacher, has a lot of resources for support, and is in a great location. I have recently been in search of this location but I am not completely set on the right place yet. I have confidence that in the next year to two years I will find this location and plant my roots while I am a student, then I will have an advantage because I am already known by the school district. -
Teacher Education Program
I will be working towards the next step in my studies which is the TEP application and acceptance. I have spent a lot of time and hard work in my studies. I will continue to work just as hard if not harder to be accepted into the Teacher Education Program. -
Foreign Language
I look forward to learning a foreign language at TWU. I would like to learn a little of both Spanish and French. I look forward to taking these courses in the near future to be able to use in my career as an educator. I understand that learning a foreign language betters my chances of career opportunities. -
Becoming a Teacher
My final step in my higher education is to finally start my career as an educator. My passion is in English and I am wanting to teach in high school. My most inspiring teachers were my high school English teachers. I strive to being an inspiration to students just as they were for me.
