Nostrile, mouth, lips, teeth buds and eyelids form. Fingers and toes almost complete. All organs present although immature. -
Month 4 Mom
Abdomen continue to grow slowly most discomforts of early pregnancy such as morning sickness appetite increases. -

Can suck its thumb, swallow, hiccup, and move around, facial features become clearer. -
Month 5 Mom
Enlarged abdomen becomes apperant, slight fetal movements felt. incereases size may begin to affect posture. -

Hair eyelashes and eyebrows appear, teeth continue to develop, organs are maturing, becomes more active. -
Month 6 Mom
Fetal movements sensed as strong kicks, thumps, and bumps, some may be visible. weight gain by the beginning of this month maytotal 10-12 pounds. -
Month 6 Baby
8-10 inches long. fat depositing over skin. Fetus appeared wrinkled. Breating movements begin. -
Month 7 Mom
Increase size may effect posture. -
Month 7 Baby
10-12 inches long, 8-12 ounces. periods of activity followed by periods of rest and quiet. -
Month 8 Baby
14-16inches, weight gain continues rapidly. may breact to loud noises with a jerking action moves into head down position. -
Month 8 Mom
discomfort from increased size. backache, leg cramps, shortness of breath and fatigue. fetal kicks may disturb rest. 18-20 pounds gained. -
Month 9 Mom
Lightening felt as the fetus drops into the pelvis breating becomes easier. other discomfort may continue. false labor pains may be experienced/ -
Month 9 Baby
5-6 pounds weight gain contiunues until the week of birth. skin becomes smooth as fat deposits continue. movements decreaser as the fetus has less room to move around. acquires disease fighting antibodies from the mothers blood. descends into pelvis ready for birth.
