Month one - baby
Its the size of a pin head, Egg attaches to lining of uterus, internal organs and circulatory sytem begins to form, and the heart begins to beat. -
Month 2 - mom
Breasts begin to swell, pressure on bladder from enlarging uterus results in need to urinate more frequently, morning sickness, and fitigue. -
month two - baby
About 1/4 inch. Face,eyes,ears,and limbs take shape, and bones begin to form. -
month three - mom
Breast become firmer and fuller and may ache. Nausea, fatigue,and freqent urination may continue, abdomen becomes slightly larger. The uterus is about the size of an orange. You will gain weight. -
month three - baby
About one inch. Nostrils, mouth,lips,teeth buds, and eyelids form. Fingers and toes almost complete, and organs are presented, but immature. -
Month four - mom
Your abdomen continues to grow slowly. Most of the discomforts from early pregnancy, like morning sickness, is gone. Your appetite increases. -
Month four - baby
About 3 inch, It can suck its thumb, swallow hiccup and move around. Its facial features become clearer. -
Month five - mom
Enlarged abdomen becomes apparent, Slight fetal movements felt, increased size may begin to affect posture. -
Month five - baby
About 6-7 inch. Hair, eyelashes, and eyebrows appear, teeth continue to develop, organs are maturing and it becomes more active. -
Month six - mom
Fetal movements sensed as strong kicks, thumps, and bumps. Some may be visible. Weight gain be the beginning of this month may total 10-12 pounds. -
Month six - baby
About 8-10 inch. Fat deposits under skin, but fetus appears wrinkled. Breathing moments begin. -
Month seven - mom
Increased size may affect posture. -
Month seven - baby
About 10-12 inch. Periods of activity followed by periods of rest and quiet. -
Month eight - mom
Discomfort may result from increased size. Backache, leg cramps, shortness of breath, and fatigue are common. Fetal kicks may disturb the mother's rest. At the beginning of this month, weight gain totals about 18-20 pounds -
Month eight - baby
About 14-16 inch. Weight gain continues rapidly. May react to loud noises with a reflex jerking action. Moves into a head-down position. -
Month nine - mom
"Lightening" felt as the fetus drops into the pelvis. Breathing becomes easier. Other discomforts may continue. A total weight gain of 25-35 pounds. False labor pains may be experienced. -
Month nine - baby
About 17-18 inch. Weight gain continues until the week before birth. Skin becomes smooth as fat deposits continue. Movements decrease as the fetus has less room to move around. Acquires disease-fighting antibodie from the mother's blood. Descends into tpelvis, ready for birth.
