Second iPhone Released
The iPhone 3G came out almost a year after the iPhone 1st Generation. The iPhone 3G came with the slogan "Twice as fast, for half the price." which was true. The phone itself only got about 0.05 inches taller but and the most expensive one could still only hold 16gb of data. -
First iPhone is released.
The 1st generation iPhone was bought by consumers all over. The most expensive version of the phone only held 16gb of data maximum and it was only 4.5in tall. -
Third iPhone Released
The iPhone 3GS came to the market as the same size as the last phone but ran at twice the speed. It also offered an extra 16gb of space, giving the consumer 32gb of storage. -

When the iPhone 4 was released it was 4.54in tall and could hold 3sgb of storage at its maximum. A little over a year later, the iPhone 4S was released at the same size, but offered double the storage at 64gb. -

Fifth iPhone Released iPhone 5-5C-5S
The fifth generation of iPhones released at 4.87in tall and could hold 64gb of data at its maximum cost. Then on 9/20/13, the iPhone 5S and 5C were released. The main difference between the 5 and the 5S was that the 5S was faster, the main and really only difference from the 5 and 5C was the fact that it came in multiple colors. -

Sixth iPhone Released iPhone 6-6S-6S Plus
When the iPhone 6 was released there was a major update to the OS of all apple devices compatible with the new OS and that was iOS 7. It completely changed the look, layout, and functionality of almost every apple product in use at the time. And the iPhone 6 could hold up to 128gb of storage. The much faster 6S was released along side the 6S Plus, a much larger version, on September 25th, 2015. The 6S plus was almost a whole inch taller than its counterparts. -
Seventh iPhone Released iPhone 7-7 Plus
The iPhone 7 was released at 5.44in in length and could hold up to 256gb of storage at its maximum cost. It was insanely fast for the time and still is used by many today. The iPhone 7 Plus ran the exact same as the iPhone 7, but it was instead 6.23in in hieght. -
Eighth iPhone Released iPhone 8-8 Plus
When the 8 was released it was 5.45in tall and had 256gb of storage at its max. It was about twice the speed of the 7 and it had a much better camera. The 8 Plus released at 6.24in tall and had the same storage but instead had two lenses for the camera instead of one. This allowed for a lot of improvement to the camera. -

Latest generation of iPhone is released iPhone X-XS-XS Max-XR
The iPhone X released at 5.65in tall with 256gb of storage at its highest price. The iPhone X was and is Unique because its has a near full screen display meaning the entire front is the screen. The soon to follow XS, XS Max, and XR all had the same full screen display the only differences are with speed in the XS, size in the XS Max, and color with the XR.
