The synthesis between philosophy and Christianity

Middle Ages Philosophy
At the beggings, there was a cultural standstill. After the 9th century, the situation changed and culture begging to thrive and a method of thought named scholasticism emerged.
The main philosopher is Saint Thomas Aquinas. -

Enlightement
During this period, philosophy believed that society must be improved by education and free thought ( Rousseau, Voltaire, Kant) -
Contemporary philosophy
This period is characterised by having diverse philosophical trends. Attempts to offer a complete explanation of reality were abandoned, and attention was focused on particular aspects of reality.
