Sometime after the divorce Peter took a mistress with the name of Martha Skavronskaya who later converted the Russian Orthodox Church for Peter, later that year she took the name of Catherine. Peter later then married her in St. Peters-burg. -
Northern War
The war between Russia and Sweden lasted 21 years which then ended the Treaty of Nystad. After the Northern war Russia was declared as an empire so Peter was then known as an emperor. -

He created something called the Table of Ranks which was a precedence. The Table of Ranks was a giant list which showed the ranks of government officials along with military officials. -
Death
February 8th, was the day Peter the Great had passed away due to health problems.
