The day I came to life
I was born on the 5th of June, 2000. I already had an older brother, Talal. He had just turned 1 year old a few months before I was born so we were very close. Being born into the world and having an older brother made me depend on my brother a lot and have a close relationship with him. -
Birth of my younger brother
Saud was born on the 6th of November 2002. when I found out that I had a younger brotherI felt as if I had this responsibility to always take care of him and keep him out of harm's way. Even now, he's 13 years old (i think idk) but I still feel as if I have this responsibility. This made me turn into a protective and caring person. -
First Day of School
The first day of school for me was probably the scariest day of my life. I remember being very excited at the beginning of the day but when my mother dropped me of and I realised that she was leaving so I was very scared and didn't want to be left alone. -
Moving Schools
When I finished 6th grade, I had to move schools because the school I was in was an elementary school only. It was a very scary experience for me because it was the first time I moved schools and I didn't know anyone in the new school. Plus, i was in that old school for my whole life so I was used to everybody in that school and not very used to big schools. This made me become a little bit more independent and depend on myself. -
Meeting my best friend Malak
I met Malak at the beginning of the school year in grade 9. We had American History together so we would always sit together and we became very close. We started going out together a lot and we became very close to the point where we would tell each other everything and trust each other with everything. This helped me shape my personality by being a good person she gave me advice and made me the person I am today. -
Death in the family
A few years ago, I think it was at the beginning of December 2013, I was coming back home from school and that's when I found out that my mother's aunt passed away. She wasn't my immediate aunt but we were very close so her death took a really big toll on me. She was like my second other so it was a very hard time for me. Even though it was very hard at the time, it made me stronger and made me realise that everything happens for a reason. -
Best friend's graduation
On June 2nd, 2016, my best friend graduated high school. It was a very fun and emotional day for me because I was uses to Noura always being at school and I used to always do her homework so it was a little bit unbelievable that she graduated. She traveled to study in Sharjah so that just made me realise that every person is gonna go their own way eventually and that's just life. -
Best friend travelling abroad
My best friend just graduated a few months ago and she decided to travel abroad to study. It was very hard for me and my friends as well because I was always used to her being around. She comes back every other weekend but I still miss her a lot.
