Rocky's Birth

Aug 11, 2001

I was born in a Bay City hospital and changed my parents life forever. They said the initial moment when I was born, their lives changed. I would not be here without this and be able to fulfil my life.

First steps

Oct 28, 2002

It was the one day my ability to move changed into walking. I took my very first steps and I got to really make my dad's birthday that day. This changed my life because I soon ended up learning... to run.

Rocky's Brother

The day I got the phone call from my dad that I had a new brother. I have never been so happy because I wasn't alone anymore. My life changed because I was now a big brother.

Riding Bike

We were about to go for a bike ride and then we went to the backyard and I saw my bike without the training wheels with my parents beside it smiling. It took about three hours until I finally got the hang of it. This changed my life forever because I knew how to ride a bike with only two wheels.

Rocky's Sister

Me and my brother got the phone call that we were the older brothers of a little sister. This really shocked us because we were just brothers but now we were older brothers to a sister! This changed because now I wasn't the only older brother any more.

First Sport

I started to get very bored at home so I decided to go attempt a sport. It was very different to what I was used to but I decided to play Baseball. I learned that day that all sports are fun if you do it right and always be in a good mood.

We packed our things and began to leave our house. It was the last time I'll see that house. I learned that you can change not only your personality, but your entire house too!

I was having a very boring day doing nothing as my dad walked into my room with an Xbox 360 in his hands. He gave me the game," Gears of War." This is dumb but important because without it, I wouldn't still be gaming now.

Working Dad

There was a big hurricane that hit New York which caused my dad to go on storm and leave town for a month. It was very boring and depressing when he left. I learned that at some of the sad and bad things lead up to good things.

Birthday Tornado

We were preparing for my brrthday party and then the tornado siren went off so we went to my grandparents to hide in their basement. We were all scared but still having fun while the storm blew over. I make the most fun with my grandparents but not as much woth my family.

Near Death

I woke up in my mom and dad's bed and I saw a bright light coming from a hole. It was a hole straight threw the wall and the bullet was in my monster truck a foot away from my head. I learned that I'm just very lucky but then I remembered, not everyone is lucky.

New House

We finished packing our things and got ready to take a ride out of home town, for good. When we arrived to our new house, we were very scared because we knew no-one. I learned that its hard to leave everything you know and go somewhere you know nothing about.

Best Friends

This kid named Kaleb walked up to me because I was all alone and he asked if I wanted to play tag. I really felt like I finally had a friend and I wasn't so scared. I learned that I could not be scared if I didn't act like it.

Trying Soccer

I had to get a new sport because we just moved and I got bored of baseball so I tried soccer. I was not only good at it, but I just didn't enjoy playing it. I learned that all sports are not awesome so don't assume that you like the sport if you have never tried it.

New Years

This was the first year ever that I didn't spend my new years with my family, I went to my friends house instead of home. We had fun but I couldn't stop thinking about my family. It's okay to go and leave your family but never forget where you came from.

High School Cross Country

It was my first practice of high school cross country and I knew none of the older kids. I was really nervous but now I'm not nervous anymore and running good. I now know Cross Country is my sport and I'm never giving it up.

Holly High School

It was the first day of high school and I wasn't as nervous as I thought I was going to be but I was still a little nervous. I had a good first day and it was pretty easy. I learned it's not hard to get used to things if you don't show fear.
