NMSU College bound at 18 yrs old
I was accepted to a four year university. The Macro system impact on my life encourage me to attend college. I knew that college was a way to improve my livelihood but i was also very anxious to be independent. At college, I was able to meet so many different people from many from different ethnicities, cultures, and religions. I loved it! I also met my boyfriend, now my husband. College was life changing on the micro level- I made life long friends, I found my identity and it challenged me.
  • JESUS!

    JESUS!
In 2000, I was 20 yrs old, while still in college. I accepted Christ into my life, got baptized and my decision to become a Christian change my entire life for the positive. It was a big decision to make but an easy one. I faced a lot of controversy from family and friends, however, I gained life long friends who were positive influences. My relationship with God continues to be a positive impact on my life. This change impacted the micro level of my life; it changed my life!
  • Marriage

    Marriage
At 25 yrs old, we got married. I believe that it was an impact on the macro and micro level. For the macro level, there is an expectation for adults to get married, have children, etc. I know that my decision weighed heavily with the micro level because I wanted to get married. It was the best decision I had made. I married my best friend, he's my team mate, and the father of our kids. Of course, we have our disagreements but we chose to work through them because we believe in our marriage.

    ..Then comes kids
At 28, I Had my first child,Jahsh 2008, NIah in 2010 and Rachael in 2016.I had never really wanted kids because i didn't view myself as a mother due to my selfishness. We agreed to have kids and I am thankful to be a mom! I am no longer selfish, I want the best for my children. They are my everything, I am careful about my behavior because they need a good role model. This impact is on a micro level, having kids changed my outlook on life, it slowed me down and I look forward to my future.
