Sarah came home
This was the date that Sarah Mclennan came home from her family’s time in Switzerland. At the time we did not know each other but we had a mutual friend who introduced us at a Christmas party. I remember our mutual friend pulling me aside that night and telling me to make sure I include her in class because we were to be in the same 4th grade class. I did my best to include her in everything we did and before I knew it we were best of friends. We have been through alot together but the important -
U-12 Soccer (picture is the more reacent team he coached me on)
This is when I met Tim Gramins, soccer coach, Police Sergeant, friend, and mentor. Little did I know that this bald man with a goofy Australian/Wisconsin accent standing in front of me who told me to tie my boots and get my a** onto the pitch, would end up being such an important person in my life. This date was the day we attended her funeral and it was my first funeral. Up to that point in my life I was fortunate enough to have not lost anyone yet. So this c -
My First College Visit
This was the date of my very first legitimate college visit. I was on vacation with my best friend and her family and we visited Vanderbilt University. In hindsight this caused me to have high standards for every college after but the experience motivated me to work hard. When I was there I knew that there was a very slim chance of me actually making it into the college but it made me want to try. It made me want to work hard to get into a good college. I went home from the visit and changed my -
My 16th year going to Canada
I have been driving up to Canada with my family ever since I was 1 year old. The cabin has been there since 1935 and was built by my great grandfather. My family goes up for 1 week every year but this year my mom and I went up for 3. It is my favorite place on earth and it has given me so many wonderful experiences. I have a big group of third, and seventh cousins that drive up there too and stay at their own cabins. Since we have been on the lake for so many years my family has all kinds of con
