  • Date of Birth

    Date of Birth
    At around 11 o'clock pm, I was born at Illinois Masonic Hospital. The people there were my mom, dad, and grandparents. My mom was in labor for a while before I actually arrived. As soon as I arrived, I was born with pneumonia. I had to be taken away for a bit because of it. I believe I was in the hospital with my mom for a few days.

    As I've been told, I was quick to learn how to walk and even talk. Walking is a major part of childhood development. From there the freedom to move creates a different dynamic. Even jumping or climbing out of the crib.
  • Lazy

    Lazy
    I tend to be lazy when it comes to certain things. Whenever I get comfortable, I will not want to move for anything. After a long day from school I like to go home and lay down before doing my homework. My laziness can get the better of me and I'll ignore my homework.
  • Creative

    I always would draw or color as a child. In my house, there is one of my oldest drawings hanging up from when I was around 3 or 4. Today, I still like to maintain my creative hobbies as I draw or paint. I like to create as my form of communication.

    My grandpa died in a snowmobiling accident when I was three years old. He was the type of family that would let me eat off his plate. Even though I was three, I was still pretty upset about his death being that another family member had to remove me from the ceremony. To this day, I still go to visit his grave.

    People can define my as being someone who they can count on. Being that person is a bit of a burden but is nice to be that person who is trusted. An experience that involves this trait would be knowing information of friends to be there for them. Listening to others as they talk to you about anything bothering them.

    I started elementary school when I was 5 years old. I can recall the first day of being in a school with many other kids. We were all waiting outside with our parents. When it was time to go in I was crying.

    A first major accomplishment was competing my first year of school. At my school, we had a kindergarten celebration for our first year. I had grown to like school at this point and had fun with letter people. I learned how to read, write, spell, and etc.

    This is actually a bad attribute of mine. Opinions are important but there are certain topics that I cannot make decisions about. I would like to work on building a confidence to make quick and efficient decisions. There were times when I needed a choice but could not choose.

    Ever since I started school I have always been a good students who was willing to learn anything that was taught. I keep up with my own work and make sure that it all gets done on time. My grades are more important to me than any other person at times since I am always trying my best. My academics are a big part of what people knew me for and what I always have my mind on. I like to give myself many challenges.

    Began Violin Lessons
    I started to receive lessons for violin, as it was a new hobby of mine that began around 4th grade. There are different levels of difficulty which I was very quick to advance through. Then I was able to join the Northside youth symphony for a while. I quit the violin when I enter high school since I was not enjoying it anymore.

    Involved
    Besides being a student, I was involved with many other activities inside and outside of school. Whether it was with clubs, sports, or scouts. Recently, I volunteered with the scouts as staff. I had fun being archery staff for the scouts. Seeing the children as they had fun. I also am involved with a theatre program known as special gifts theatre.

    In elementary school, I was the manager of our flag football team for the season. Our team was good and we ended up winning City Champs earning medals and plaques. It was a good experience to be on the other side of a sports team. I joined because the soccer team had been cut.

    Being balances is the physical, emotional, and mental stages. I would say that this is an attribute I have as I tend to balance a lot. I would go as far to say that I try to balance a little too much which tends to leave me overwhelmed. I have work, school, and even other extra activities that I am involved in but I try to balance them out.

    Taft NJROTC Military ball took place on Spirit of Chicago my first year. So far, I believe this was best place to have it since I quite liked being on a boat where we could have fresh air. Military ball is the only school "dance" I go to since I don't like social areas.

    I joined the ROTC program not knowing how much I would enjoy it. The program itself teaches students to be leaders no matter where they go. We develop skills in the program and that comes with the responsibility. As a leader, I teach the subordinates to be well disciplined individuals and lead as example to others.

    I started driving for the first time at Taft HS. I took the class then was able to start range. The first time I drove was with the range cars, not even with my parents. Driving is very nerve racking to me so I don't drive often.

    My room could be a mess but everything is organized in a way. I like to stay organized for all my work since it helps me see what I have to do. I like to keep an agenda for school and I color code all my class. Each subject has its own section and devoted area. It helps to stay focused on my tasks.
  • First Day of Work

    I started working at Wrigley Field for the Cubs as a Guest Service Ambassador. As a GSA, I scan tickets when people walk into the stadium. It is important for the job to be the friendly and helpful faces to represent the Cubs. This type of social job is not really what I am looking for.
  • Adventurous

    Adventurous
    Being an individual that likes to go out an "explore", I would say I am adventurous. As I get older, I become more independent. This attribute could also connect to the new adventures I will go on trying to find where to go after high school and creating a new path for myself.
