Born
I was born Feb 1, 2001 in Kingston, Jamaica. I am the first and only child for my mother, but I have 3 or 4 other siblings. Fun fact: I use to be left handed, but my mom thought something was wrong with me, so she used to beat me every time I used my left hand. -
Went out of country for the first time
I believe I was 3 or 4 when I first went to visit my aunt in England. I don't remember much of this visit because I was a child, but I would love to go back. -
Swimming
I started swimming around the same time I started playing soccer. I was a very competitive swimmer and would back up my talk most of the times. I was invited to represent Jamaica for under 14. Swimming took up a big part of my life I would practice everyday with my school and practice with my club on the weekends and sometimes during the week. -
Soccer
Soccer was the first sport I ever played. I was good at soccer, won championships and all, but I stopped playing it for some reason -
Attended Lanaman's Preparatory School
This is significant because I feel like this is where part of me was made. Throughout my time at this school I had the best and strict teachers would consistent looked out for me and saw potential in me. I feel like this is why I am considered a mature person. -
Cub Scout
I became a cub scout in 2010. I became a leader my second year and had a lot of badges. I enjoyed doing cub-scout, but stopped because it was interfering with swimming. -
Changed Prep Schools
Even thought I was considered the smartest at the school and was successful and noticed in the newspaper, I didn't feel like the school matched my interest. As expected things changed and I didn't like these random changes, so I left and went to St. Theresa -
Snow
The first time I experience snow was in Chicago. I think I was 9 or 10 and my step-mother made me a custom winter coat. -
Cricket
I started playing cricket because my friends were playing it. I liked playing it, but it wasn't my favorite sport. -
GSAT
This is test taken by 6th graders to see what high school you are going to. I passed for St. Georges College and was featured in the newspaper. Ad Majorem Dei Gloriam -
Tennis
I sent the summer in Chicago and learnt how to play tennis at the court at Morgan park. I only played for one summer. -
Basketball
I started playing basketball in 7th grade. I played for 2 years competitively, then stopped when I moved to chicago -
Chicago
I moved to Chicago in 2015. This was a big change for me because I didn't know the city well and didn't understand a lot of slangs. -
Football
I started playing football my junior year. I wasn't that good because it was my first time playing, but I still had coaches interested in me. My senior year I spent the off season training and working out. I will be playing football in college -
Track and field
I started track and field mostly to have fun, but I am taking it more seriously this year and I am hoping to make the state finals. We will be going to Florida during the season, so I will be putting in extra work.
