Mixed-up Mother Goose
This is my favourite childhood game. I loved the little challenges and character interactions this game had. I remember crowding around the PC with my siblings playing together. Proudly showing my dad our accomplishments.

Sonic the hedgehog 2
The Sega mega drive was the first console our family owned. Sonic was the first game we had for it. It was my brothers console so I remember having to bribe him so I could play on it.

Poker
A cousin taught me and my younger brother how to play poker. We played it obsessively during the school holidays against everyone. Then never played it again.

The Sims
This game brought me back to playing on PC having played only on various consoles since the Sega. It was also different to all the other games I played. I discovered I liked controlling other peoples lives.

The Sims 4
After the birth of two of my kids I was looking for something to use to unwind and I came across this. It was nostalgic, fun and doesn't require constant focus which was perfect with the kids. I still play this regularly to this day and have played with the kids. I like that Sims have expansions even though I hate spending the money on these. It makes the game feel new every time.

Monopoly
I bought the Christmas edition to start a new tradition. We all loved playing it and we played two other types with the in-laws too. It then became an obsession during COVID and I now own 7 different types so far. I like that this game is enjoyable to a broad range of ages and that it is passively competitive.

Roblox
My son's love of this has made him want to be a game designer. To let him have a look at what it would entail is why I chose Introduction to game design as an elective.
