Bride of Spring
Bride of Spring The lovely statue that adored the library's entrance for over 30 years was discovered to be a “lost” fine art work entitled "The Bride of Spring," a sculpture created by Edmonia Lewis in the late 1870s. After much ado and many newly-admiring glances, the statue was sold at auction.
