APA Founded
Stanley Hall founds the American Psychological Association (APA). Later he writes two journals in the field: American Journal of Psychology in 1887 and Journal of Applied Psychology in 1917. Sigmund Freud
Sigmund Freud in 1900 wrote the books, The Interpretation of Dreams and The Psychopathology of Everyday Life, which introduced the theory that there were no acciendents in life.
