The men all side with Slim and tell Curley to keep his wife at home. Curley then attacks Lennie, who is still dreaming of his future ranch with George. Lennie is surprised and terrified. After, George tells Lennie to fight back. Lennie uses his strength and crushes Curley's hand. -
Lennie Kills Curley's Wife
Curley's wife allows Lennie to pet her hair, because Lennie enjoys feeling soft things. However, Lennie does not realize his own strength, and breaks Curley's wife's neck. After, Candy finds Curley's wife dead, and goes to find George. The rest of the men then come and go to find and kill Lennie. -
