Johannes Gutenburg, a German from Maiz invented the printing press in 1440. This new technological invetion made it easier and cheaper to print books. The first Gutenburg Press was the Holy Bible. At this time relion was a big conflict. And the printing Press made it easier for people to put their views of religion for the world to see. -

Christopher Columbus took three ships (La Nina, La Pinta, and La Santa Maria). He was suppose to sail West until he reached Asia. His mission was to get the gold, pearls, and spices that awaited in Asia. The trip was longer than Columbus and his crew expected. -

Queen Mary I is known as Bloody Mary for killing 287 Protestants and is responsible for the death of 57,000 people. She executed many people during her reign. The name Catholic Mary Tudor was totally blackened. And till this day she still known as "Bloody Mary" in England. -

But in August 11, 1596 Hamnet, one of the twins, died, William Sheakspeare was most famous for his plays and poetry. His most famous play was a love story called "Romeo and Juliet." This play is known around the world. Sheakspeare changed theater forever. -

Cortiers awaited Queen Elizabeth's death. She was slowly losing grip of her interest to run a country after being alone for so long. All the men in her life, nearly gone. She seemed depressed all the time. And she was always so stubborn while she was sick. Wich lead up to her death.
