The Train Ride
After spending the night at a synagogue. The wiesel family was put on a train to Auschwitz. -
Finally Arrived
Finally arriving to Auschwitz. Elie and his father were seperated from the rest of their family. Being the last time he ever sees his mother and younger sister. -
Sent to Buna
After being at Auschwitz for some time Elie and his father were sent to Buna -
The hangings
Elie now witnisses many hangings, one including a young pipel making Elie question his god. -
Surgery
To start the year off Elie needs surgery on his foot. -
Evacuate
Just after having surgery on his foot. Elie has to be now evacuated to Gleiwitz. -
80 miles to death
After 80 miles of marching. Elie finally gets to Gleiwitz. Now after not have food or water for 3 days. -
To Buchenwald
The prisoners were now sent to Buchenwald. The trip taking almost 10 days. -
Father Finally Gone
After staying with his father for so long. Elie's father dies from dysentery. The S.S. sending his father to the crematory. -
Freedom
After so long Elie and other jews were finally liberated by american troops.
