    Jacob Leisler seize the control of New York in late 17 centuries. However, his rule only last 3 years. He was convicted treason and sentenced to be executed in 1691.

    The king William’s war is the first series of conflicts between France and England in North America. The goal of the war is to gain the control of the fur trade. The treaty of Ryswick ended the war.
