The FDIC is a company that provides insurance to people who deposit money into national banks. This helped America back in the 30s because it encouraged people to put their money in banks so that the economy could bounce back. This helps us right now because it keeps people from not depositing their money in a bank. -

The FCA helped farmers refinance their mortgages. This helped America because we needed these farms to produce food for cheap instead of importing them. This still helps America because farms are a huge part of our economy. -

The SEC was formed to regulate the commerce in stocks, bonds, and other securities. This was important because before the SEC there was no group that provided protection to stock and bond holders. The SEC also helps stop people from monopolizing the stock interest. This organization helps us today by keeping the market running smoothly. -

The FHA provides insurance on loans for homeowners. This agency gave people security when buying a new house or property and this made Americans feel safe when buying houses. This still helps Americans today by helping people with less money spend less to buy a house. -

The Social Security Act was made to provide for older people and give them welfare. This was important because it offered immediate relief for family struggling with money. This still helps up today because everyone is registered in with a Social Security number and this keeps things running smoothly. -

The NLRB is responsible for enforcing US labor laws. This board he,pled give many people jobs that’s didn’t have any during the Great Depression. What this board does now is set new laws on labor to give workers the rights they deserve.
