Edwin Perkins made Kool- Aid and he first opened in Hastings NE, he made more stuff for kool- aid but the flavoring was his best seller. -

They had a very bad economy. The stock market crashed in October. A ton of people became unemployed and many back went out of business. -

The Dust Bowl
The Dust Bowl have severe dust storms and they were in a drought. They wind would blow so much you couldn't see anything. The temperatures were also high. It killed may people, animals, and crops. -

In 1934 NE voters thought it would be a good idea to be the first state to have a unicameral and in 1937 they did exactly that. -

The students didn't want serve in war and they didn't agree with them so they protested.
