    the Haitian revolution first peeked when thousands of enslaved Africans were brought to Haiti to work in the plantations. as they saw that their french masters were out numbered,they decided to take action and stand up for all of the suffering they endured. they revolted against their masters and a new leader emerged. as a former slave, Toussaint L'Ouverture, had no military or diplomatic education but still, he was a good ruler.by 1801 he took control over the whole island and freed all slaves.

    the Mexican ware of independence was the process that ended the Spain ruling 1821,in the territory of new Spain. the idea of the independence came from the age of enlightenment and some liberal revolutions. this revolt was mostly caused because the people of mexico, like many others during this time period were infuriated by the social classes. Miguel Hidalgo was the start to all of this with his "grito de dolores" speach in which he argues that they had been treated unfairly by spain all along

    mean while Simon Bolivar worked on liberating the northern part of south america, San Martin worked on liberating the south.his main goal was to liberate some countries like Chile and Peru.it was a long process to fulfill his goal but he moved quickly.he made a plan to cross into Chile and attack Peru from the south. this was called the battle of Chacabuco. this would be one if the first steps to liberating Peru.on July 28,1821 the independence was declared. Martin was called "protector of Peru"

    the wars of the independence of Latin America was a revolt of mexico during 1810. the next uprising was by Simon Bolivar, who was determined to lead the movement for the Venezuelan Independence. at first he fail to do this until Simon Bolivar began to conquer most of northern south america. although his army was mostly always out numbered he always had great victory. he defeated the Spanish in one of his wars allowing him to liberate an area he called Grade Colombia.

    during the Apollonian ruling where he held captive the king of Spain in 1808 was when all of the Spanish colonies saw a chance to fight for their independence.Brazil how ever,didnt want the same fate as the other colonies.king john VI landed in brazil later on that year and for the first time in brazilian history they had a monarchy. Portuguese members of the cortes showed hostility to brazil and wanted to restore their values.pedro took control over this movement and declared the independence.

    the Italian unification was encouraged by the idea of countries like France and Britain being liberated during the 18th century. Italy saw that the countries around them were unifying and evolving and they wanted a change too.one of the men that would make this possible would be Giusippe Garibaldi. Garibaldi was an Italian nationalist revolutionary hero and leader in the struggle for Italian unification and independence. united Italy became more realistic when he defeated the Austrians in 1859.

    just like italy the Germans wanted change. the main difference was that like the united states, was under the article of confederation. this however seemed to not be working as well for Germany. one thing that was keeping Germany from making this progress was the Valois-Bourbon royal line, which had complete power over central Europe. central Europe was made up of Germany and Italy. when Italy became unified that gave Germany a chance fight for their own unity.
