Age 4
Dcf removed Myself and older brother from care of mother because of drug and alcohol abuse.Placed with Aunt who I later found out to happen to abuse different drugs and alcohol -
Age 9
Mom decided to get herself cleaned up. Eventually me and my siblings were placed back with our mother -
Age 10.5
Back into DCf care becuase my mother could not keep sober.This was an eye open of someone that I did not want to end up like or make the same mistakes. -
Age 11
Met a social worker named Peter S. He really gave me a positive outlook and life and convinced me to attend college. He was somewhat of a mentor/ father figure.Peter worked hard on my case and placed me in a great home at the time. -
Age 14
I started highschool and since Peter really worked hard my case I felt that should give back.
I began taking classes that were similar to human services and and psychology.
I also took up art/media (ceramics, painting, psa's) -
Age 16
Peter helped be score my first job. Chuck E Cheese. College searches. Deciding which major. I decided I wanted to start with psychology because I really wanted to know the underlying reason people do the things that they do. It was more so for me to have an understanding of why my mom and aunt abuse drugs. -
18-21
Enrolled for Post University to pursue my psychology major and art minor.
