My timeline

  • Birth

    Birth
I was born with a wonderful mother and dad in a small city called Monterey Park in the state of California. I was born the only girl out of six brothers. Yes, six brothers. Can you believe that? Out of all those six brothers I feel that I'm more closer to my 18 year old brother because we went to high school for two years.
  • My Dad

    My Dad
It was January the year of 2013. I remember this day clearly like it was yesterday. I could still picture my dad leaving the house in handcuffs. I remember that I knew I will never see him again. I knew he was going to be deported. During the holidays he speaks to me over the phone and it brings me tears. It's sad knowing that he is far away from me.
  • Meeting my best friend

    Meeting my best friend
I started high school the year of 2013. I didn't know absolutely anyone because I came from a school that no one really knew of. I was really scared because it was my first year. As my first day went by it was pretty cool I met new people. My next class was P.E. I can see her talking to a few of her friends and in that instant it just clicked. We starting talking and I knew from that moment on she will never leave my side.
  • Church

    Church
My mom enrolled me in Communion and Catechism classes at a church called St. Anthony's. At first I thought it would be boring. I had to doo communion for a year and catechism for two. My freshman year and sophomore year were really busy because I had school, work and now church. I thought why. After attending classes for a few weeks now it changed my whole thought on it. I really enjoyed going. My last retreat was at Big Bear and I'm truly grateful that I got to experience this.
  • My First Job

    My First Job
During my freshman year I had a lot of spare time. I knew this lady from this program called Migrant Education. I've been in the program since 7th grade. I knew her because I would go to her office and make up some credits. One day she offered a job to me as a teacher assistant. For about three years I've been working with students from K-8. During those years my favorite was summer of 2015 where we all went to a field to the mueseum. It was an amazing experience.
  • Teaching me a lesson

    Teaching me a lesson
In my high school year I started struggling a bit and I was afraid that wouldn't be able to graduate. My older brother, he was in the marines, he gave me a talk on his life. He told me the good and bad that has happened to him. He told me this because he doesn't want that to happen to me. That moment on my life changed in a good way because he gave me a different perspective in life.
  • Moving to Arizona

    Moving to Arizona
For many months my family been planning on moving because were we lived we've been there for about 16 years. Since I was born. That was my childhood house. I was heartbroken because I grew up in there. All the memories I had with my family. All the ups and downs. Everything. I would have to leave my friends and everyone I knew behind.
  • Bad Times

    Bad Times
When we moved to Arizona we thought it was going to be better for us. At least I thought that. We spent all our holidays here in out house. I was crying the day of New Years Eve because how I wished I was with my aunts, uncles, and cousins. We always spent the holidays together. During these months of December to February have been hard because we barely had enough money for food. It was quite difficult for us because we're such a big family. It was also hard for my brothers to find work.
  • My Second Niece is Born

    My Second Niece is Born
My second niece was born this year on March 9th. My first niece Hiliana was born December 23rd, 2010. I became close to Hiliana because I never had anyone to play with when I was small because I grew up with boys all the time. I have a feeling that Mya, my new niece and Hiliana would become really close to me as I to them.
  • Hospital

    Hospital
This happened recently on March 12th. I was feeling really sick and extremely high fever. My mom ended up taking me to the hospital near my house around 10 am. I never really liked going to the hospital because it was kind of scary. I always grew up with that idea. They took me and my mom to a room and at this point I didn't have any idea what was happening. After having a thorough observation they told me I have pneumonia.
