Identity Timeline

  • Patricia was born

    Patricia was born
    I was born at Holy Family Medical Center in Des Plaines, Ilinois. The time at which I was born was at 2:45am. At first I was supposed to be a boy named Patrick, but that changed. My mom was debating between the names Jessica and Patricia. Finally, she chose Patricia because she liked it a lot and got the idea while reading her favorite book at the time.
  • Baptism

    Baptism
    I was baptized at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church. This was a huge moment in my life due to the fact that it was the beginning of my faith. During this time I gained the blessing from a Priest, which according to my religion meant that I was freed from the Original Sin.
  • Spelling Bee

    Spelling Bee
    In 2nd grade we had a school-wide spelling bee, which was something I wanted to accomplish very much. I got nominated to participate in it because of my excellent ability and spelling. I loved spelling tests throughout my elementary, which I studied for all the time and did very well on them. I received 2nd place which I was still something I was proud of. i was a very shy as a kid and this was something that I stepped out of my comfort zone to do.
  • First Volleyball Game

    First Volleyball Game
    I was in 3rd game and this was my first sport that I tried out for. It was first game and I was really nervous, but I dint think I would be picked to be a starter. My coach came up to me and said that she knew I was ready to be a starter because I put so much effort in trying to become a better player. This was also a time for me to find myself and learn about my interests.
  • First Communion

    First Communion
    This was my First Holy Communion. That moment was huge part of my religion and a very special moment in my life. A Holy Communion is a time when you are cleansed from all your wrong-doings or as we call them sins. It's a time when you learn to make the right decisions. During your communion your family is usually by your side and supporting you through this great moment. This was also the time where my faith and connection with God grew bigger.
  • Going to California

    Going to California
    This was my first trip out of the state. I was so excited especially having the chance to travel with my cousin. We went to disneyland and went to the beach. The memories we made were amazing and we had a blast. We saw so many disney characters and visited various sightseeing places in downtown California. Cali is definitely a place worth going back to, which I want to go back to someday.
  • Won a Fish at the Carnival

    Won a Fish at the Carnival
    I was at a school carnival and I spent most of my money playing a game because I wanted to get a fish. It took me so long and I didn't win anything. After a couple tries my friend came and helped me out with winning a fish. At least the ball landed in the bowl and I got myself a fish. I named the fish Rocky and this was a huge success in my life.
  • Hip-Hop Classes

    Hip-Hop Classes
    Ever since I was little I loved dancing and it was one of my favorite hobbies. This was something that I needed to do by getting out of my comfort zone. It was hard, but I loved it as soon as I went to the first class. I met so many great friends and even performed at different shows. It was also something that made my mom proud because I was enjoying and having so much fun with it.

    As a kid, I was very open to new sports or opportunities. My mom was a huge part of encouraging me to try different things. I realized at this time that ice-skating was something I loved doing. To this day I still regret not going further and doing figure skating because I had a huge passion for it. I passed all the levels throughout ice-skating and was ready to move on further.
  • First Summer in Poland

    First Summer in Poland
    This was my first summer in Poland, which I flew to alone. I was excited because that summer I met family members that I didn't even know existed. It was a memorable summer considering I did a lot of sightseeing which I enjoyed very much. It was also the time my grandma and I got very close after a couple years. We were close before, but she went to Poland which she decided to say there the whole time.
  • First Time Going to London

    First Time Going to London
    London has always been my favorite city and having the chance to go visit was extraordinary. This was something that I dreamed of, especially having the chance to visit my family there. Visiting the city there was just amazing and beautiful. I saw various museums and places that I've never seen before. At that moment I realized that I wanted to go there for college and maybe even have my life there.

    I was in 5th grade and I was one of the first people in my class to get braces. It was a huge moment in my life due to the fact that my teeth were getting straightened. I was pretty happy that I got this early and not in high school, so my pictures wouldn't have included me in braces.
  • Becoming a Flyer

    Becoming a Flyer
    This was one of the most memorable times in my middle school. I got on the cheer team and it was something I wanted to get on for a while. I was told that I was chosen to be the flyer for the team. It was one of the most amazing moments in my life. My dream came true and my interest developed for cheerleading.
  • Winning 2nd place at Science Fair

    Winning 2nd place at Science Fair
    Science has never been one of my strongest subjects and winning 2nd place and going to city science fair was quite an accomplishment. I put in so much effort for this project because I really wanted to do win and move on. The topic of my project was about the moon which is one of my favorite topics. While doing this project I learned so much interesting things.
  • 8th Grade Graduation

    8th Grade Graduation
    This was a huge moment for me because I was finally going to be a high school student. The sad part about this was the fact that I was going to miss all of my friends which I grew up with for 8 or more years. That moment was a pretty emotional moment, especially having to say good-bye to some of my closest friends.
  • Working with My Aunt in London

    Working with My Aunt in London
    This was my second time in London and my cousin was still in school, so I decided to shadow my aunt at work. This was also the day I realized that I wanted my career to be in the business field. My aunt works as a secretary at an elementary school. I enjoyed speaking with people and doing office related things. That day I enjoyed very much and realized what my passion is.
  • Freshmen Year

    Freshmen Year
    This was my first year in high school and it was a year for me which i wanted to develop myself as a person. I was trying to maintain my grades and meet new people. My main goal wasn't really becoming the most popular person because the only thing I focused on was doing my best in school. It was a time where I lost many friendships due to the fact of the long distance with them. My proudest accomplishment was receiving straight A's both semesters.
  • First Concert

    First Concert
    This was my very first concert and it was the Tori Kelly Tour. She is my favorite singer and having the opportunity to go was just incredible. I remember this concert to this day and how I got to spend it with one of my closest friends. It was such an amazing time and I'm glad that was first concert was the Tori Kelly one.
  • First Job

    First Job
    After turning 16 I applied for a job right away and McDonald's was the first to call back. I work there to this day and never would have chosen a different one. The coworkers I have met have been great and I enjoy working with them. I learned so many useful skills for future jobs. I didn't only met my coworkers, but I made amazing friends.
  • Permit

    Permit
    This was while I was taking drivers ed. to work on getting my license. I felt accomplished by the fact that I got my permit and passed the drivin” part. Driving has always been something I’ve wanted to do and finally being eligible was something that made me happy. Even though, the tests were difficult and it was hard to study everything to pass that class I’m glad I got through it .
