I would rate this novel a 2 out of 5 stars. The characters in the story made not wise decisions in a time of need. Like when they acted rude around the mayor and provoked him. In the story I felt that not every detail was as important as they should be. -

I would rate this book a 5 out of 5 stars. I rated this a 5 out of 5 stars because the plot of the book appealed to me. There was a lot of action that kept me on the edge of my seat. -
The Outsiders
I would rate this novel a 4 out of 5 stars. I rated it this way because of the events in the story. Every moment was important in one way or another and it kept me on the edge of my seat. -
Arthas
I would rate this book a 5 out of 5 stars. I rated it the way i did because of all the action and emotion in the book. It was really emotional for the characters in the book for them to see Arthas gradually plunge into darkness and leave everything behind. -
The Lost Hero
I would rate this book a 3 out of 5 stars. I rated this book this way because some chapters were bland with no emotion or action. It was like those chapters were just empty space. -
Chronicles of war
I would rate this novel a 5 out of 5 stars. I rated this the way I did because this book was really descriptive and full of action. I really got to know who orcs were as a race, and what they stand for, which is liberation from the ogres. -
The Giver
I would rate this novel a 4 out of 5 stars. I rated this book with 4 stars because some parts of the book weren't that appealing to me. However this book is very descriptive and can get intense at some points, which is good. -
Self Assessment
This year i have grown as a reader in many ways like practicing with my independent reading books. Next year i want to read higher level book that are more descriptive. I also want to be a faster reader so it wont take me a while to read books. I want to read a total of 6 books next year for just my independent reading in class. Over the summer i want to read more book for fun.
