The tale of Desperaux By Kate DiCamillo
It's about a little mouse called Desperaux who has to save the princess from a rat who has locked her up in the dungon. When Desperaux is born he has big ears and his eyes are open. When he gets caught talking to the princess he gets sent to the dungon to be eaten by rats I would rate it 8/10. I didn't like it because it was wrote like the author was talking to you. I would recomend it to 6-12 year olds. -
The locket of Dreams By Belinda Murrell
In this book a girl called Sophie finds a locket belonging to her greatgrandmother and when she falls asleep wearing it she finds herself traveling back to the year 1885 to find out what really happened to her greatgrandmother Charlotte and her sister Nell.I would rate this 10/10. I liked this book because some parts a very sad. I would recomend this book to 8-15 year old girls.

In this book Tane and Rebecca have to stop New Zealand being talen over by fog that makes people dissapear, to stop it they have to decode messages they get from the future.
I would rate it 9/10 because the start wasn't that interesting but the end was! It would be the perfect book for anyone that loved adventure. -
Fallen By Lauren Kate
This book is about a girl that gets sent off to a school for people who aren't mentally stable when she is. But when she sees a boy she thinks she knows she must uncover the truth to it. I would rate this book 8/10. I liked the book but the end is very hard to follow, I had to read it a couple of times to get it. I would recomend it for teenage girls (12-19). -
New Moon By Stephenie Meyer
When Edward moves away from Bella she finds a new friend, Jacob,who she starts to fall for but when he turns out to be a werewolf her life gets even more mixed up than before. I would rate it 9/10. I didn't like this book very much because it didn't have as much action as the first book. I would recomend this to 11-17year olds. -

Greg has to face that him and his best friend Rowley are now not friends and remembers all the good times they had. I would rate this book 6/10. This book isn't that intersting and is not as cool as the first one. -

In this book a little boy finds out about the little people living in the floor boards called Borrowers that think that humans have been made to help them. They then have to keep them selves out of trouble and away from the family cat. I would rate this book 9/10. This book didn't really end it just kind of stops. -
Haryy Potter and the prisoner of Akaban by J.K. Rowling
It's Harry's 3rd year at Hogwarts and with an escaped prisoner that everyone says is trying to kill him Harry must stay out of trouble. I would rate this book 9/10. I liked it because it is very descriptive and I would recomend it to 9-14 year olds. -

In this book Sams dad goes missing and no one knows where he is. So Sam takes it into his own hands to find him. He goes to his dads bookshop to look for clues but instead he finds a statue that can make him time travel. He figures out that his dad is suck some where in time and must reascue him. I liked this book but it explanded everything to much. I would rate this book 9/10. -
The book of time II: The Gate of Time By Guillaume Prevost
In this book Sam must try to find clues to help him find his father. But when someone who doesn't want them to get home destorys the statue, him and Lily have to work together to get back to there own time. I liked this book and it had lots more action then the first one. I would rate it 9/10. -

This book is about how a little boy who lived in Pakastan and he found a dog who he named Shadow. Him and Shadow were trying to get out of Pakastan but it was harder than it seems -
The beedle and the Bard By J.K. Rowling
This book is a colection of five tales that all involve wisards or witches. Dumboldore then comments on them. In this book there is the tale of the three brothers, the cackling stump and 3 others. I would recomend this book to 8+ year olds. I would rate it 7/10. -

In This book Sam has to race against time to get Alica who has been kidnapped and sent through time. The only way to get her back is to give up the golden circle which is the only way to go back in time to save his mother from being killed. I would recomend this book to 10-15 year olds because it has lots of adventure and you won't be able to put it down! I would rate this book 9/10. -

This is the last book in the series. In this book Harry has to find all the Horocruxs and destroy them. But then they discover the Hallows and work out they have to find them too. -

In this book a 12 year-old girl called Isabel and her little sister called Ruth are slaves to a nice old lady. Their mum and dad have died so when the old lady also dies the are sent of to another country to work for someone else. But when Isabel meets a boy who wants her to spy on her new owners every thing goes down hill and when Ruth gets sold, she agrees to. I would rate this book 10/10. I would recomend it to 11 years +. -
Percy Jackson and the sea of Monsters by Rick Riordan
In this book Percy has to find the golden fleace to put on Thaias tree (it protects Camp Half-Blood from monsters) to help recover from posining, the only thing is that its in the cyclopes lair. I would rate this book 8/10. I would recomend this book for people who love adventure books. -

The Hobbit or There and back again, as it was sometimes called, is a very thrilling book! In this book a hobbit called Bilbo Baggins, ventures over the lonely Mountain, with a group of dwarves to reclaim a treasure taken from them by the by a dragon Smaug. They face many adventures along the way including trolls and many others. I loved this book and would recomend it for people who love adventure books. I would rate it 10/10! -

This book is told from the point of view of death and set in Molching,Germany in WW2. In this book a girl called Lizel and her brother are being sent to a foster home in Germany. But when her brother dies on the train they burry him in the snow. There she finds her 1st book. Her foster parents Hans and Rosa Hubermann treat her well. When a Jewish fist-fighter comes knocking on their door and they take him Lizel and him start to bond I would rate this book 10/10! I would recomened it to 13-18yrs -
City Night
In this book a groups of around five kids 12 year old are in the city. They steal money from people, point the fingers at men in purple jackets, and eat a lot of fish and chips! This book is full of problems that happen in real life. I would rate this book 6/10. I would recomend this book to mature 13 year olds. -
Inkheart by Cornelia Funke
In this book a little girl called Meggie Folchart life changes dramatically when she discovers that when her father Mo reads aloud from books thing will come out of the paper. When Meggie was 3 Mo read aloud to her mother and she disappears into the book releasing 3 people, Dustfinger, Basta and Capricorn. 9 years later and Meggie still doesn’t know about Mo’s special power. But when Dustfinger turns up at their house, Meggie finds herself being sucked into an adventure. I would rate it 10/10 -

Inkspell
This book is the 2nd in the Inkheart trilogy. Dustfinger is sent back to the Inkworld, but then Basta is sent back to. Maggie goes into the Inkworld to warn him but again she finds herself being sucked into a dangerous adventure. I would rat this book 7/10. -

In this book a 32 year old secret agent on his last mission is injected with a potion that makes him imortal. 20 years later a 12 year old boy finds him. They have to work together and keep themselves safe. I would rate this book 10/10. -
The fobidden room by Sarah Wray
In this book a 12 year old orpan called Jenny is adopted out to a family. A mum, a dad and a 5 year old boy called Stephen who is relly smart. But when Jenny overhears a conversation between Helen(her foster mum) and Dr Jo, she starts to get suspicious. Then she finds the diary of Mandy. The other foster daughter of the Holland family. I would rate this book 10/10 -
The Trap
A 15 year old boy called Luke goes to a summer camp. The same summer camp 3 teenage boys have gone missing from a couple years earlier. When Luke starts finding clues in his cabin he starts to worry, what if the 3 terenages got the same clues when they went missing. Puting these worrys aside he carries on with the treasure hunt, to a disaterist end. I would rate this book 10/10 -

This book is about 4 teenagers called Toni, main character, Courtney, Eddie, the ed man, and Jeff. Jeff has a big secret, only Eddie knows. Jeff fances Courtney but so does Eddie. Toni's twin brother has just died and now she doesn't know what to do. She knows Eddie needs her to keep his feet on the ground. I would rate this book 9/10 -
Hiding Edith
THis is a book about a jewish family in world war two. They have to go into hiding when their father is taken by the Nazi's. Edith is 11 years old. Her brother Gaston is three years old. They go into a a house that is full of jewish children thaat parents are dead, lost or can't provide for their children like Edith. While there Edith makes lots of new friends and starts to enjoy life again. But then with the Nazi start making trouble, she becomes unsetled. I lwould rate this book 10/10 -

The End of the aphabet
Ruby i8s a 14 year old girl. She has 2 younger brothers, and one older one who always gets his way. After a fight with her best friend over her being a doormat, she decides its time for a change. Only that isn't as easy as it sounds. She trys to get her brother to help more but her mum is always on his side. So she goes on strike. But this gets her no where. So she thinks of another plan. I loved this book so much, it's great because it's something that could happen in real life. I would rate 10 -

In this book a boy called Beck, his uncle and his friend are going to a small town, when the plane crashes, the polit dies and no one knows that have left. Becks uncle left leg is broken, and Beck and his friend Takniia have to walk for help. I rate this book 8/10. -

Ten-year old Caroline was last seen getting into a black car with a man. This was the last time anyone ever say her. Maggie gets caught up in the case and starts seening clues every where. Her new neighbour with a black car who's just gotten out of a mental hospitalm the new neighbour's also seen burying childrens belongings in his garden. I rate this book 10/10 -

Lou and her mum, Anne, are more like best friend rather than mother and daughter. Lou trusts Anne and can deal with thwe fact that she steals. Lou never knew her dad, he was killed by a bomb before Lou was born. Lou and Anne move alot, she's never allowed to write to her old friends, and she knows that something is going on, she just doesn't know what. But she does she is going to find out what it is. -

In this book a girl called Katie Milk and her 3 friends go to a boarding school. When a t.v crew come to film a documantry on there school, they enter the talet show to win. But when thekitchens nuns dog runs away, the camera man is shady and other stuff starts to happen she starts to gets disractred. I would rate this book 6/10. -

This book contains around twenty other short stories in from real life situations that other girls have hed to deal with. This book is really good and very helpful. I would rate it 10/10. -
The Key to Rondo
Leo recives a music box from a dead Aunt. You must only turn the kery three times, never turn the key while the music is playing, never pick up the box while the music is playing and never close the lid until the music has stoped. Those are the only 4 rules for themusic box. When Leo's anoying cousin Mimi comes to stay, every thing goes wrong. Leo finds himself being sucked into the world of Rondo and not liking it/. I loved this book and would rate it 9/10. -
Hedi
This book is about a little girl who goes to luive with her grandad in the mountains. She loves it there and is very upset when her Aunty Dete comes to take her to a town to keep a 13 year old girl company. This book is very good and I would rate it 7/10.
