Bedtime Reading
At my house it was family tradition that you were read to every night before bed. This was the book that my mom read to me every night for years when I was little. It was my absolute favorite and I loved getting to share that special time with my mom. -
Welcome to the family, Luke
My older sister and I were so excited to find out that we were getting a little brother. We planned with my parents that we wanted to be able to read with Luke like our parents did for us. When he came home my older sister Lauren and I would take turns reading Dr. Suess books to our new baby brother in his room. This was a great way for us to continue the tradtion. -
Junie B. Jones
The Junie B. Jones series were the first chapter books that I could read myself in Elementary schhol. On the bus or during any down time in class you could find me entranced by Juine's adventures. -
Quiet Time
My faith has always been a large part of my life and from Bible stories before bed when I was younger has grown into my own quiet time now. This is a very special reading time for me in my life and it has expanded since coming to college. -
Vacation Reading
One of my favorite things to do at the beach is to lay out on the hot sand with a book. This is such a peaceful time for me where I have free time and am able to dive into a novel for fun. I always look forward to our family annual beach trip over the 4th of July
