Born in Chicago, IL
Chicago is my Paradise
I was born the youngest of three with two older brothers, Brandon and Zac. I don't remember much about Chicago, but I'll certainly never forget the times I spent downtown with my family. It's still my favorite place on the planet. -
Moved to Canada
Oh Canada!
Moving to Canada was one of the biggest events of my life. It was such a big change for me, but I'm so glad my family decided to move. I feel at home there. -
Started School at CCS
I came to Calgary Christian in 2nd grade, and right from the start I felt so welcome. I loved growing up with the people of this community. CCS gave me a chance to develop my faith and share my gifts. I was defnitely one of those kida who loved going to school every day. -
Adopted Rhett & Lulu
These dogs complete our family. They've both got hilarious personalities, and even though they're pretty stupid we love them a whole lot -
Met Brittney
No that I call her my BFF but...
Brittney has been my closest friend for a long time. We share so many interests, and yet we're entirely different people. We love to make each other laugh, and we're good at keeping each other accountable. I love her! -
Named Captain of the Varsity Volleyball Team
After playing volleyball at Calgary Christian School for five years, I was chosen to be the Varsity Girls Captain for my last year. It was such an amazing opportunity to be a leader for my friends and teammates. This was definitely one of the highlights of my CCS career. -
Musical Theatre Provincials
My final year competing in the Kiwanis Musical Theatre Competition, I got to go to Provincials and compete against people all over Alberta. I came second in my category, and had a ton of fun doing it. -
Graduated High School
This was such a fun day. High school was amazing, but I was glad to see everyone moving on to bigger an better things. -
Came to Calvin College
This event was a big one - moving away from my family and coming to the Calvin was one of the scariest and most exciting things I've ever had to do. There were definitely some rough moments at the beginning, and I had to learn how to share myself with an entirely new group of people. Looking back, this is such a happy point in my life, because I know how lifechanging my time at Calvin is going to be. -
A Midsummer Night's Dream
I played Titania in Calvin College's 1960's rendition of A Midsummer Night's Dream. It was an unforgettable experience - I had so much fun getting to know a cast of crazy and talented people. -
Went to Nickelback Concert
Nothing but quality music
This was such a fun night. Carissa, Riley and I went to the Van Andel to see the legendary Nickelback. We were surrounded by 50 year olds in leather, but we had an awesome time.
