I was born!
I was born at a hospital in Pontiac, MI. My mom was only in labor with me for 25 minutes. I had the ambiblical cord tied around my neck, so I almost suffocated. My 2 year old sister and dad accompanied my mom to the hospital. -
I was baptised!
I was baptised in my Trinity Lutheran church in Fenton. My aunt, uncle, sister, and parents came. This event is important to me because I was raised in the Christian faith and grew in it throughout my childhood. It made me the person I am today. -
I started preschool!
I went to Children's Ark Preschool for two years, when I was 3 and 4. I remember I had a best friend named Tiffany who was in my dance class, and I also got in trouble for hitting the teacher's grand-daughter. These years let me make friends and feel like I had a purpose, which helped my future school years. -
I started elementary school!
I went to elementary school at Holly Academy. I sang every year in the talent show, and I made a lot of friends. I learned many important things that continue to help me in school. I made friends that I still have to this day. -
I got my first dog!
When I was in first grade, my family drove to Pennsylvania to get a dog. He is a blur merel Australian shepherd named Bailey. I have always played outside with him since I was little, and he is my best friend. He is expressive and playful and always comforts me and shows his love. -
I started music lessons!
I took singing and piano lessons at the Flint Institute of Music, then went on to sing at the Detroit Opera House. My family was very supportive, and they knew I had a talent. I still take voice lessons and want to incorporate music into my future. -
I went to France!
When I was 8, I went to France with my choir. We performed and went sight-seeing, and had a lot of fun. This experience opened my mind to a different culure and grew my love of excitement. -
I went to L.A!
When I was 9, my mom and I went to West Hollywood to see a music producer who invited me to a voice private. We stayed at a hotel, went to the mall, and went to authentic restaurants. This experience made me close with my mom and opened my mind to new things. -
I started sports!
I played basketball and tennis in 5th and 6th grade, but cross country and track were my real talents. I ran cross country and track in middle school and did races on my own. I still run these sports and take pride in fitness and speed. -
I performed at the Detroit Opera!
I performed La Boheme at the Detroit Opera House. I went on to perform in Carmina Burana and Ippagliachi. My family knew I was talented, and supported me in music. I still take voice lessons, but it's hard to balance sports and singing. I still try to find time to perform, though. -
I got my second dog!
When I was in 6th grade, my mom and I went to get our first small dog. I chose a cockapoo named Max, and he is the most energetic dog I have ever known. We are very close, and his funny and adorable antics always make me happier. -
I ran the 10 Mile Crim!
I have done many races, but some stand out. I trained all summer for the Crim, and it paid off when I got first place for my age group. This experience made me faster, and I am still running races and participating in cross country and track. -
I went to a new school and met my best friends!
In 8th grade, I moved from Holly Academy to Holly MIddle School so the transition to public high school would be easier. I couldn't have done it so confidently without my friend Amber, who also moved schools. I participated in sports and music at the new school, and I met my friend Kaylynn. -
I went to Indiana for Thanksgiving!
This event may not be huge or life-changing, but it means a lot to me. My grandma and grandpa and cousins live in Indiana, in the middle of nowhere. They are very old-fashioned, and visiting them kind of gives me a break from society. These family experiences help me learn important values. -
I went to high school!
I went to Holly High School this past September. I have a lot of friends that make me laugh here. I also run cross country and track. I don't think it right now, but one day I will look back on this experience and be thankful for the things I learned and the friends I made, because it will shape my future.
